Creatives

A CREATIVE LIFE IS A MEANINGFUL endeavor to take

Being a creative person or professional, whether that means engaging in or working in film, animation, writing, acting, visual arts etc., comes with its own set of unique stressors. For many, while being a creative offers a meaningful space to connect to our most authentic and innovative selves, it can also offer a space in which imposter-syndrome and perfectionism can easily arise and threaten to take over. When they do, we can get stuck in the muck of their effects. These effects can look like intense feelings about not being good enough, getting fixated on what we believe others want of us, molding ourselves to fit external standards, overwhelming fear in navigating an uncertain field, and so much more.

These are just a few examples of what it can feel like to be stuck in the clutches of anxiety, imposter-syndrome, and perfectionism. I am here to understand what your experiences have felt like, and through that understanding, help guide you back towards believing and trusting that you already possess everything you need to thrive.

In working together, we can find ways to slow down the process of imposter-syndrome and self-doubt from taking over. There is a reason you gravitated toward your creative field. I believe that by grounding yourself in your authenticity, you can meaningfully shift from believing everything your self-critic is telling you, to trusting in yourself.
